I come from the south of Italy where actualy I live but now I am in New Haven studying at Yale at the English Department. I am a PhD student in English Studies and Translation. I have a MA in Teaching Languages from Università della Calabria (ITALY) and a BA in English Literature from Università della Calabria (ITALY).

Voglio che i miei studenti si divertano mentre apprendono e per questo uso diversi metodi. Mi piace preparare le mie lezioni che di solito prevedono pronuncia, lettura e comprensione, conversazione, nozioni grammaticali. Il materiale che uso dipende dalle necessità e dagli interessi dello studente. Mi piace anche trattare argomenti riguardanti soprattutto l'arte come letteratura, cinema, danza, musica ecc. Mi piace leggere, passeggiare, nuotare, andare al cinema ed a teatro. Adoro cucinare e viaggiare. My profile in English: I have been teaching english and italian for 10 years and I am totally bilingual. My approach is flexible. I like my students to have a good time while they are engaging their brains so I use a combination of methods. I love preparing my lessons that usually include pronunciation, reading comprehension, conversation, grammar drills. The material used also reflects the student's interest and specific needs. I like to include a variety of topics especially related with the Arts: literature, movies, dance, music, etc.
