I offer tutoring in AP classes, math, American history, and test prep which is my specialty. Taking a standardized test can often be a daunting and formidable task. There are very few people who look at a standardized test with fondness and joy. For them, it is difficult to see how a single score can have such a huge impact on their future. That score is derived from answers to questions and these questions have their own language. It is my desire to teach my students this language. There are patterns and forms of questions that a student can learn so that success on these tests is attainable. I have extensive knowledge about these patterns and the types of questions that are presented on standardized tests, and it is my goal to help my students learn the strategies and skills that they need to be successful with these exams. My past experiences as a test-teacher and being a former test taker myself has shown me that these tests are not unbeatable or unfair. With effort, any student will be able to learn the language of these tests, and I can not wait to share with my students the knowledge that I have gained to help them achieve the success they are looking for.
