Education
Graduated in 2011 with academic honors from Macalester College with a B.A. in Humanities, Media, and Cultural Studies (Media Studies focus), and a B.A. in French and Francophone Studies. Graduated from Columbia University with a Masters of Fine Art in Film Directing and Screenwriting.
Experience
I have been teaching/tutoring for 12 years, working with elementary and middle school students all the way up to juniors and seniors in college. I have also taught abroad and have worked with non-English speaking students in a French high school, leading to the highest percentage of senior students passing their written and oral English exams ever at the school (96%). Teaching is a passion of mine—I love sharing knowledge that will help students succeed! I am NOT a one-size-fits-all type of tutor. In our first session, we will identify short and long-term student goals, target areas of difficulty and frustration, and tailor each session accordingly. I offer a discount on a case-by-case basis for college students.
