Education
I graduated with an honors Double Major in Organizational Management and Psychology from University of Western Ontario in Canada in 2010. Early this year I graduated from Columbia University, Teachers College with two master degrees, one Ed. M Counseling Psychology and one MA in Psychology.
Experience
I was born in China and am a native Mandarin speaker. I have tutored Business case studies and Mandarin back in College for 3 years. I am equally fluent in English and Mandarin thanks to my third culture baby identity :p I majored in psychology back in college and also accomplished graduate study in the field. I love talking about psychology and I am really good in explaining theories with real life examples/case studies. With a GPA of 3.9 out of 4, I also am very skillful in test taking. My experience working as a counselor as well as a tutor help me to understand each student's learning style quickly and adjust my communicational/teaching style and pace to meet each of their needs. I was elected to be the diversity senator back in Columbia Student Senate. I consider myself open-minded, culturally sensitive, and always looking forward to giving and gaining inspirations as I live my life.
