It was at Gettysburg College where I developed a love for Biology. There, I aided in researching cell cycle control and DNA damage repair pathways. This provided the inspiration I needed to pursue a PhD in Biomedical Sciences at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. I love teaching and it allows me to share my knowledge with those majoring in Science. It is a win-win situation. Students that I tutor benefit, and I benefit from tutoring each student. I like to think of myself as an effective tutor. I do have a solid grip on Biology, and I have a talent for helping students understand complex concepts.This understanding forms the basis for their confidence to keep learning things at each step along the way. I have a passion for education, and I like to share it with those that I tutor.
