I am looking to pick up a little summer work while I complete a 3-year Masters program in elementary education at Fairfield University. As of today, I have completed courses in Literacy and Science Methods for students in grades K-6. I enjoy tutoring for two reasons. First, it allows me to work 1 on 1 with a student for an extended period of time, providing opportunities for differentiation, inquiry, and modeling that are not possible in a traditional classroom setting. Second, it is a deeply rewarding experience seeing children grow and master new skills.
