Experience

Throughout my career at SCSU, my teaching program has provided me with multiple opportunities to tutor students with and without disabilities. I have taken classes on teaching math and language arts for special education students and students who need extra help. I would like to be a tutor because I feel that my organization skills, patience, and wide array of experience in teaching with students with different struggling areas. Sometimes it takes a different approach to the material to help a student understand. I feel that I can help students in their struggling area because I struggled as well in my secondary education years.There for I can connect with the students and their struggles and help them reach their goals.
